Tasting Notes

Nyetimber’s decision to dedicate its production to traditional method sparkling wine has resulted in Blancs de Blancs wines like this one. Made only in the best years from 100 percent estate-grown Chardonnay grapes, this is a complex wine full of rich citrus and appealing flavours of toast and brioche. If you want to sample the best England has to offer, you won’t go far wrong with this.

Light amber in colour, with aromas of lime and white flowers and hints of spice, vanilla, and toast. Baked citrus gives this wine a great entry followed by roasted nut flavours which add complexity. It is vibrant and linear with fine creamy bubbles creating an attractive mouthfeel. The finish is long with brisk acidity, green apple flavours and a clean mineral note.

Food Pairing

In a ideal world you’d have this wine with just shucked oysters, topped with finely chopped shallots and vinegar. In a perfect world, you’d drink it with freshly cooked cod and salty chips, eaten seaside on a late summer`s evening,
