Changing the wine we drink with the seasons is an opportunity to experience a wider range of varietals and pairings. With warmer weather on its way, our taste buds start to lean towards crisp, clean, refreshing wines like Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Albarino. The warmer weather doesn't have to mean moving on from red wine, which can actually be perfect for those brisk spring days. Wines such as Beaujolais, Pinot Noir, or Grenache are excellent for enjoying with lighter spring dishes or even the heartier winter foods we aren't quite ready to move on from.
