Greece

Greece is arguably one of the oldest winemaking countries in the world, albeit not the first country to make wine, it was indeed the Greeks who spread wine culture around the Mediterranean as far as France, Spain and Italy. Despite such a rich heritage, their unique wines have only grown in popularity in recent years thanks to the fusion of ancient tradition and modern winemaking that highlight native varietals such as Assyrtiko and Vidiano as well as Xinomarvo and Kotsifali.
