Roberto Sarotto Tenuta Manenti Aurora Gavi DOCG, Italy 2021

Why we love it...

Gavi was Italy's first white wine to gain international recognition and this is a superb example.

The Story of Roberto Sarotto

The Sarotto family have been growing grapes in the region since the 16th century, and is one of the best producers in Gavi under the watchful eye of Roberto Sarotto, and his wife Aurora. Bric Sassi is the name of the Sarotto vineyard, located in the frazione Zerbetta near the town of Gavi, where the combination of Miocene marne/tufo soils and 50-year old Cortese vines produce a crisp, focused and mineral-driven wine
