M de Minuty Rose, Cotes de Provence 2021

No-longer pigeon holed as a summer wine, one of our key trend predictions for 2023 is that consumers are going to be enjoying rose, both still and sparkling all year round.

Why we love it...

It instantly transports us to St Tropez!

The Story of Chateau Minuty

Located in the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle on the Saint-Tropez pensinsula, Chateau Minuty has been owned by the Matton-Farnet family for over 80 years. Now in the hands of the third generation yet the aim remains the same; to create the best possible Provence rose. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre thrive in this temperate, maritime climate.

Tastes like...

This is a classic Provence rose with its pale pink colour and aromas of red berries and a touch of stone fruit. The palate is laced with strawberry and raspberry and balanced by fresh, crisp acidity with a long, mineral-driven finish.

Pairs well with...

Rose is an extremely versatile wine category with lovely depth of flavour, red fruit character and good acidity. It can lend itself very well to pork, turkey, cheese, hearty soups, tempura prawns and spicy food. Perfect for those dishes that are too light for red wine and too heavy for white wine. Rose meets that middle ground.
