Samuel Billaud is part of an esteemed Chablis family, who previously owned the reknown Domaine Billaud-Simon before selling to Domaine Faiveley. Family politics was too much for him, and after a feud with his uncle, he broke away in 2009 and founded his own negociant, Samuel Billaud. He is without doubt one of Chablis` star winemakers
