Domaine Vacheron is without a doubt one of Sancerre`s elite estates with 34-hectares of Sauvignon Blanc grown on flinty, silex soils in the eastern section of the appellation. It is still a family-run Domaine with Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron at the helm, who completely transformed its ethics and converted to biodnyamic farming (certified by Biodyvin in 2005), producing wines with excellent precision, purity and definition.
