Cockburn`s was founded in 1815 and has grown to become one of the world`s great Port houses. Named for Scotsman Robert Cockburn who founded the house in Portugal, Cockburns makes a complete line of fine ports, including Cockburn`s Special Reserve - the world`s most popular premium port. Cockburn`s is known worldwide for its mature, less-sweet style of Port, and is based high in the Douro Valley at the Quinta dos Canais, surrounded by 97 hectares of vineyards.
