Chateau Les Grands Chenes
Chateau Les Grands Chenes is located in the Medoc appellation of Bordeaux and it is commonly referred to as ‘The Pearl of the Medoc’. It is situated on the Saint Christoly du Medoc gravel outcrop, an exceptional terroir that gives the wine its special charm. The first plantation of vines was planted in 1880 and now the vineyard spreads across 12 hectares. The vines are planted at a density of 8,300 vines per hectare with 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Annual production reaches 60,000 bottles.
