Chateau Lafon-Rochet

Chateau Lafon-Rochet was established in the sixteenth century and produces one of the most popular wines in Bordeaux. The chateau is located in the Saint-Estephe appellation of Bordeaux and has been owned by the Tesseron family for over 40 years. The estate is situated on gravelly soils from the Quaternary Period, with a clay-limestone subsoil. The 45 hectares under vine is filled with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
