Chateau La Couspaude
The production at La Couspade is not large, at around 3000 cases per year, and the improvements in quality over the last 20 years have made it more difficult to get your hands on the estate’s wine. The well-known Aubert family run the show here, and the seven hectares of vines are mainly Merlot with additional plantings of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are typically full and soft, with fleshy tannin and opulent fruit character.
