The Moueix family purchased a property in Pomerol called Chateau Certan-Giraud in 1999. Comprised of two vineyard parcels with differing terroir, the most elevated and prime of the two was renamed Chateau Hosanna. This vineyard is located on gravel soils next to Petrus, Lafleur and Vieux Chateau Certan and is planted with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%).
