Also known as Picpoul, Folle Blanche is one the three traditional grapes used in the production of Cognac and Armagnac, alongside Colombard and Ugni Blanc. Its use is in decline, but with a neutral style that is high in crisp acidity it is an excellent grape for making Brandy.
