Canaiolo
Most frequently found in Tuscany, Canaiolo is a red grape grown throughout Italy. It is an important component in Chianti, and is often used to add fruitiness and soften the primary Sangiovese component. On its own Canaiolo is a soft, simple, fruity red wine with flavours of raspberries and cherries.
