Brunello

Brunello is the local name for the Sangiovese Grosso grape, and is found exclusively on the hilltop sites around the Tuscan town of Montalcino. Brunello di Montalcino wines are some of Italy`s most sought after, and are powerful wines that have excellent ageing potential. Dark and brooding, with a brilliant garnet hue, the wines have complex flavours of cassis, smoke, leather and vanilla.
