From French origins, the Lurton brothers saw the possibilities that Argentina had to offer them and so they arrived in the Alta Uco Valley and Bodegas Piedra Negra began. They planted Pinot Gris in place of Chardonnay which has resulted in the largest planting of Pinot Gris in Argentina and we think the quality is fantastic.
