Second wine of Chateau Agassac which is like a ‘fairy tale’ Chateau just as you enter the Medoc coming from Bordeaux. Upon first tasting we were really impressed with this wine. On paper this should have been drunk 3 – 5 years ago however it offers lovely, soft, mature red berry fruit with cassis and bilberries and a touch of cedar. Worth decanting as it does have a fair amount of sediment. Drink now for 12 months until end of 2012.
