Bright pale gold in colour with aromas of ripe apricot and glace pineapple which leap out of the glass. On the palate lucious ripe tropical fruits with strong hints of ripe apricot, well balanced by cleansing acidity finishing with a lovely crisp edge.
100% Riesling from their own Kayena Vineyards on the West Tamar. The fruit was heavily botrytis infected and was left to hang on the vines until very ripe.
A fine style of dessert wine more in the European tradition with good levels of acidity and low level of alcohol. Enjoy now though has the potential to continue to develop in bottle for at least another 2-3 years.
