This is a fabulous Bordeaux blend from Meerlust. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Meerlust's younger vines and spiced up with declassified Rubicon.
Condensed red and black berry fruits with a hint of liquorice. Smooth and concentrated almost velvety and impressive length. You could call this a "credit crunch rubicon". Excellent.
