“The nose is powerful and deep, very dominated by the cassis and bilberry of Cabernet Sauvignon but behind this is a lovely racy green pepper pointing to some Carmenère in the blend. The palate has great depth, the fruit feels sweet, touches of Merlot plum, real voluptuous richness but there is freshness coming through in the middle lifting and lightening the flavours, all adding to the complexity. The structure has the feel of Petit Verdot and the spice black pepper with hints of red fruit that comes through on the finish is Syrah at is best. It is very enjoyable now but the true potential is still to show so do not rush it. Derek Smedley MW” 95 points. Drink 2008-2016
