Chateau Mouton Rothschild
Chateau Mouton Rothschild was promoted to 1st growth status in 1973, and is the only Bordeaux Chateau to have achieved 1st growth status since the 1855 classification. Baron Phillipe de Rothschild introduced the 'artists labels' with his first vintage in 1924, he then went on to introduce Chateau bottling. The estate is now run by his daughter, Phillipine de Rothschild.
