Vincent Girardin
He started in 1982 with 3 hectares of vines and now has over 17 hectares of Prime Cotes d’Or. Known more for his seductive, rich, creamy white wines he also produces some excellent red wines.
Vincent Girardin has a modern new winery based in the business district of Meursault. His Gevrey Chambertin is very competitively priced and gets more depth and structure than most.
One of our favourite producers, wine writer and critic Jancis Robinson has listed Vincent Girardin (Financial Times) as one of her top ten European wine makers; praise indeed.
