Moana Park
Moana Park is a small family owned boutique winery situated 5 kilometers from Taradale in the western hills of Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Drawing fruit from both the Gimblett Gravels appelation and the Dartmoor Valley, where specific wine styles are selected each vintage and hand crafted to explosivly represent their vineyard origin and the oversized passion of the viticultural and winemaking teams.
Moana Park sources its fruit exclusively from four family owned vineyards in the renowned Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand. The first vineyard is in Puketapu, where the winery and cellar door are situated. The second vineyard is situated a further 8 km up the Tutaekuri River, in the heart of the Dartmoor Valley. The two new sites are situated 15 kilometers south, one in the renowned growing sub region of Gimblett Gravels, and the other backing onto the Gimblett Gravels, situated close to the Pacific Ocean at Te Awanga.
In pursuit of producing high quality wines the Moana Park wines have been selected for a number of awards - the first wine we have selected to import is the Vineyard Selection Cover Point Sauvignon Blanc 2009 - well worth a try.
