Joseph Drouhin
A Domaine that needs little introduction. Founded by Joseph Drouhin 130 years ago. Today it’s run by the fourth generation whose father Robert was one of the first in Burgundy to introduce "culture raisonnée" (doing away with pesticides and other chemicals) and built a laboratory of enology run by Laurence Jobard, the very first woman enologist in Burgundy.
They are one of the biggest Domaine’s owning 73 hectares. Their wines are generally fairly expensive but the quality is excellent. Their Laforet Bourgogne Blanc is outstanding.
