Bodegas Palacio
A historic Rioja winery founded in 1894. It was modernised in the 1970s and today enjoys great success through its innovative brand ‘Cosme Palacio’.
Our comment: The reasons behind the rich, elegant style of wine it produces are the predominant use of French barrels for ageing. The high quality Tempranillo fruit is kept consistent by the long standing contracts with growers in the La Guardia area of the Rioja Alavesa.
